NICOLE LAKE- OWNER/DIRECTOR/TEACHER/CHOREOGRAPHER

Nicole grew up studying all forms of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, hip hop, and ballroom. She has had experience performing  at multiple events/parades, tv appearances, and shows At a young age Nicole began traveling around the east  coast learning at various studios such as Broadway Dance Center and ABC  in order  to broaden her dance knowledge. Nicole has over 15 years of  teaching experience with various styles of dance in ages  3-adult/beginner-advanced/recreational and competitive. Nicole has years  of award winning choreography and multiple students who have went on to  have a career in dance. She has been making herself known around the  valley for her teaching and choreography. Nicole creates a fun and  exciting class experience to make learning dance easy and fun for all  ages while still paying close attention to technique and performance  qualities. Aside from her teaching/choreographing experience Nicole also  has a lot of experience and knowledge when it comes to running a studio  and being organized and open about happenings at the studio.

  

GABBY RIVERA- TEACHER/CHOREOGRAPHER

  

Gabby  has studied and performed hip hop dance for most of her life. At the  age of 7 she joined a competitive hip hop team called AZ Hype and was  apart of the team for 10 years. While on AZ Hype, Gabby competed and won  at countless competitions with the team. Not only was Gabby a part of a  competitive hip hop team but she was also involved with the Jr. Mercury  Hip Hop Squad. While dancing for the WNBA’s Jr Squad she was recognized  by her coaches and fellow dancers for being a great leader, hard  worker, and outstanding performer. At the age of 15 Gabby found an  interest in learning more about dance and joined the dance team at  school and began taking jazz, contemporary, and ballet classes. While in  high school Gabby was on the Performance Dance Company and  choreographed and performed many pieces of dance shows and school  assemblies. She creates a fun class and strives to help dancers loosen  up and enjoy themselves while doing what they love. Gabby is one of the  original instructors that was brought on to staff at Studio 21.

  

KLEITON SISTELOS- TEACHER/CHOREOGRAPHER

  

Kleiton  Sistelos was born in Recife, Brazil. He studied Classical Dance in the  Royal Method and graduated in 2006. He studied the Technique Cubana from  2005 to 2007. Kleiton has trained in Brazil, the United States, and at  the Teatro Carcano in Milan, Italy. He has studied Jazz and Modern,  specializing in the Horton Technique in Brazil and at Alvin Aylin in  NYC. He has danced in festivals throughout Brazil and Europe, including  the Latin American Tour in Milan, the Dell’Art Festival in Genova, the  Nice Festival in France, and the Festival of Valencia in Spain. He has  performed in major productions on stage and on television in Rio de  Janeiro Brazil. Kleiton has been on staff with Studio 21 Dance since  November 2015 and we are blessed to have him on faculty.
